“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”

Being a Food Lover

If you are here, we will take it that you enjoy delicious dishes and food. And who doesn’t? If you are a food lover, that means you are one of those who lives to eat. Being afood lover is not always so easy. Especially with the budget that we spend on food and the extra weight that will probably put on, keeps you at tight spots. One is too less for a food lover. We enjoy food and we respect your favorites too. Therefore take “Tastiest Food” as a platform to give a shout-out to your favorite foods.

Being a food lover, a set aside simple dish can turn into drastically delicious foods because you know exactly what to add to give it a glow! If a foodie decides to get into healthy eating, it is never a disappointment because we know exactly how to make it taste great. Many people think healthy food, means it is going to taste yucky. Not many people know that healthy eating can also taste great depending on how it is cooked or presented.

Perfect foods depend on the time, situation, and place. It can also become a comfort food at times of distress. There are also people who take comfort food to an extreme level which leads to being overweight and obese. Therefore, as a Foodie, love food, but love yourself too!

“People who love to eat are always the best people.”

Julia Child

Importance of Food!

Have you ever wondered why is everyone trying to ignore what is important? Well, not everyone, but we tend to look away when we have what is important by our side. Food is one of the most essential needs in our lives. Without food, we are definitely not going to live. It is important that we value the importance of food. We are always told about people dying out of hunger, and therefore we shouldn’t waste food. But we’d say, “if you are doing nothing within your reach, even though you know someone out there is dying out of hunger, then that is something you need to work on”.

We don’t mean you go on wasting food. NO! Definitely not! But rather than wasting, buy and eat your filling. There is a saying,” The rice takes a long journey to come to your plate, therefore it is a sin to waste it.” from sowing seed to transferring it to paddy fields, then waiting patiently for it to grow, from reaping it, to sun kissing it, from milling it to cooking it, then finally arriving into your plate. To waste something that took such a long way to get there is definitely not fine. And we encourage you, not to waste food as a foodie. Well, that’s one of the things about food lovers. Most food lovers don’t waste food! Yes! That’s right! We hate to see our beloved food go down the drain.

Our Favourite Foods

There are so many delicious foods in the world, and we might not have probably tasted even 10% of them all. However, we would like to quickly share some of our favorites. Here is a rundown list of favorite foods:

Som Tam – Thailand

Thai Som Tam is a papaya salad that is very popular in Thai that is a combination of four tastes – sour, chilli, sweet, and salty. This wonderful combination of Thai curry is mouth-watering and just bursts in your mouth. The taste also gives a very refreshing feeling and just by sound of how it is crushed, anyone will want one.

Rendang And Nasi Goreng

It is voted as the World’s Best food twice according to CNN travel. Rendang comes from the West Sumatra while Nasi Goreng is an invention of Indonesian island, Southeast Asia. It is made of fluffy rice stir fried, spices like ginger, lime juice, garlic and pepper, turmeric, chili, fried egg yolk on the top, grilled meat, etc. It also comes with sweet soy sauce, kecap manis, terasi and shrimp or fried chicken. Indonesia’s Nasi Goreng fried rice has a totally different spicy taste and gives a Southeast Asias taste and feeling. It has a much more favorable taste than the regular fried rice and takes rice to a whole new level. There are different types of recipes that make a fried rice, yet again the Rendang And Nasi Goreng has won the hearts of people. It is also the national dish of Indonesia. Looks beautiful and taste beautiful too!

Dim Sum

It is also known as dumplings, and comes in the form of stuffed ingredients. The ingredient can be either vegetarian or non vegetarian. Dim sum comes under one of our favourite with the kind of taste it gives with its simplicity. The perfect combination with onions, fresh meat from the butcher, and flour could do so much in the kitchen. They are usually steamed and come along with spicy pickle or soups or dipping sauce. With the increase in tutorials about making dumplings, you will realize that there are so many things you can do with this simple dish. We have tried some of them and viola; we just couldn’t believe how it turned out so well! Just delicious!

Portugual’s pastel de natas

It is the Portuguese custard tarts that is rich in egg tart and has a shattering crisp and a delicious sweet pasty treat! One is never enough for pastel de natas with its caramelized custard and creamy custard and golden brown flaky pastry crust.

our favorite foods: tastiest food

Paella Spain

The Spanish paella is one of our favorite too. There are so many different recipes of Paella and it is not fair that we only got to taste some few. This Spanish cuisine can be served with sea food, chicken, shrimp, sausage, finely diced vegetables, rice, saffron, sliced lime, lemon juice etc. It is served warm and is so filling when you are travelling to Spain. Just be sure that all the ingredients don’t play with your digestive system. Other than that this dish is just delicious.

Indian’s masala dosa

A popular Indian food that is made of crispy rice and lentil crepes, gives a savory and refreshing taste stuffed with mashed potato masala spices, cilantro, sour cream and other curry.

Italian’s Neapotitan pizza

Pizza originates from Italy. These days we find pizza in almost every city and town. However, the pizza Napoletana still is one of the best. The preparation and ingredients are simple with basic dough, fresh mozzarella grilled cheese, some fresh basil, olive oil and raw tomato. It may also come with simplest toppings of just tomato sauce and grilled cheese. Perfect for any vegan too!

Barbecued Pork

Well, anyone who is non-vegetarian knows how delicious this can be. Barbecued pork are something, the flavorful scene, the crispy bite, just yum!! It is too simple to prepare and still could make the whole gathering so special. It’s shredded pieces of meat marinated with few seasoning can also enhance the taste.

Rice Noodles

The rice noodle is gluten free, egg free, wheat free and vegan. It also gives a Southeast Asian stir fry taste and texture. It is quite easy to prepare and can be alternatives to heavy pastas and broth. Rice noodles can serve as Stir-fry and hot noodle soup with vegetable.

South Africa Bunny Chow

The South Africans Bunny chow is a fast food that consists of a bread loaf filled with meat curry. The meat can be chicken or beef or mutton. The South Africas meal also comes under our favorite food because of its budget friendliness, affordable and comes with rich flavors.

Poke Hawaii USA

The Hawaiian meal consists of a fusion of cubed raw fish, crunchy garnishes, fish sauce, rice, onion, veggies, etc. It is served as an appetizer or sometimes as a main course. It originates from Hawai but has multicultural influences from Japan and other parts of Asia. The poke Hawaii is massages with various spices such as sea salt, seaweed, and peppers salt.

We have shared our favourite foods above, and that is not all, there are still a lot of delicious dishes we have left over which will be discussed in our other posts. Keep in touch with us by subscribing and you will get all our updates.

Many people have this question and to be honest, we can’t really say. Of course there are so many surveys and opinions. But, everyone have different taste buds, and we think it would be unfair if we just mention one particularly. Even among our team, we have our own favorites and we could not choose one answer for this question. In addition, people from each country have their own favorable taste and appetite. The tastiest food would probably depend upon the situation and the person who eats it. But anyway, according to our latest research, people have voted Massaman curry from Thailand and Rendang And Nasi Goreng from Indonesia to be the best food.

Benefits of Being a Foodie

There are many advantages of being a food lover, here is a list of some of our favorites!

Makes Traveling Fun

Perhaps the most awesome aspect about making a trip is having the opportunity to attempt all the new foods. Traveling gives you admittance to huge loads of new foods that you just can’t get at home. Which implies you won’t consider a Chipotle burrito when you are chowing down on new pasta in Italy.

Benefits of Being a Foodie

Knows the Best Foods

One of the assumptions for a food lover is to know where you can maximize your cash. If you are a foodie, you realize where to locate the best food at your place. This is a critical favorable position, particularly if you have companions from various nations who need to know where to taste the best food.

You Know What You’re Craving

At the point when you have a craving, you know what to get and where. Most food lovers rush in when they consider eating. This can be a benefit when you start a relationship; you and your partners won’t know how or where to eat.

You get to look forward to all the food pictures your friends tag you in

Each tasty pasta dish or delightful sweet that we see on Instagram for the duration of the day it is required to label your kindred food-darling companions. Consequently, they will cause you to notice the 15-minute pizza instructional exercise that they saw on Facebook.

We always know the best places to go to eat

One of the assumptions for a food lover is realizing where to take full advantage of your cash. Everybody goes to you for where the best burritos are in your town or where the best pastry shop is. This kind of duty is a food lover’s fantasy, in light of the fact that the exploration is the most amazing aspect!

You know not to judge based on appearance

The outside is not important to you. You realize that what within that is important, like to cheddar and guacamole.

You have foods to fit your moods

At the point when you are stressed and have had a difficult day, you go straight for the container of Ben and Jerry’s, while when you are feeling decided, you may go for a beautiful serving of pretty salad. Not saying we don’t attempt to eat frozen yogurt with each feast, however, our feelings do tend to guide our food decisions more often than not.

You have a positive outlook on yourself

Filling your body with regular foods gives you an unadulterated and clean inclination — it is just about as straightforward as that.

Healthy food does taste great

Regardless of what individuals say, in the event that you are a food lover you will appreciate the taste of healthy food. For the individuals who share this inclination, you realize that lousy nourishment isn’t engaging. If you don’t discover healthy food appealing, gradually begin to join more healthy foods into your eating regimen and you will figure out how to adore the taste as well.

Tips to enjoy your food to the fullest

Don’t just gobble down your food without knowing what it tastes like. Here are some tips to enjoy your food to the fullest.

Eat what you really want

Before you start to eat, survey the scene and ask yourself this: What do I really want? Then take a portion of whatever that is and eat it. Because let’s face it, we’ve all been in that situation where we deprive ourselves of something and then end up eating our way through the kitchen in a desperate attempt to suppress that craving… and then eat it anyway.

You are much more likely to stop eating when you are full when you have eaten foods that satisfied you.  So if you are craving some pie, don’t put yourself a double serving of salad instead because it is what you “should” be having. Just cut yourself a slice of pie, alongside the salad, and enjoy.

Otherwise, you will just keep craving what you are depriving yourself of and won’t truly be satisfied from the food you are eating.

Tips to enjoy your food to the fullest

 Appreciate the flavor

Pause for a minute to enjoy each bite. Eat gradually and chew your food. Set aside the effort to see the taste, surface, and fragrance.

Eating down your food will undoubtedly detract from its pleasure. It will be gone so quick you’ll wind up asking yourself – what did I by any chance simply eat?

Put efforts to eat in a quiet place and take as much time as necessary so you can genuinely be fulfilled.

Use your special dishes

Do you know how we save the “decent china” for unique events? When you utilize your more pleasant dishes you’ll be bound to regard the supper as something you would prefer not to hurry through. Drinking tea from something that feels extravagant lifts our mood and the same goes with our meals.

Flavor it up.

We are not really alluding to flavors here; we are more about the zest of life! As people of propensity, we tend to realize to be enticing to purchase very similar things, eat very similar things, and possibly eat them sitting in a similar spot, thinking very similar things.

However, we urge you to try new things. Then, we can appreciate food on an unheard level when we approach it with the tastiest feeling of interest and new experience.

Make each meal mindful

Whether you have time to cook and eat or not, make sure you make every meal mindful. Check out the scents and the sounds outside your window, and be completely present. At the point when you’re eating, take full breaths between each nibble. Also, consider your food like a connoisseur, dissecting and valuing the various flavors and surfaces.

Cook with love, and share!

Cooking is treatment to us and many others too. It leaves us imaginative, appreciates magnificent flavors, continues to learn and in particular, share the delight with people we love.

At the point when you cook for other people or yourself in a decent and cheerful state of mind, the energy passes to the food. Also, when you cook with love, you are more mindful of the cooking interaction and you put forth a valiant effort.

Share your food and bring your companions over for a dining experience. This is because food is tastiest and best appreciated when shared with loved ones. What’s more, the commendations will fill your heart with joy!

“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.”
