Hi, I’m Kelly and thanks so much for checking out the site! First things first, I get crazy excited about vegetables. So crazy I’d rather eat a salad instead of cookies for dessert. (I can hear your gasps from here!) 😉 While I’m not trying to convince you to go quite that far, my hope is to make you excited about plant-based eating too – with simple vegan recipes that are packed with enough flavor to please both herbivores and carnivores alike. With an (adorable) energetic toddler to chase around all day, I don’t have time to stand in the kitchen making long, complicated meals. So recipes you find here are super simple, showing just how quick, easy, and fun healthy eating can be.


My Love

I love animals, nature (especially mountains and the smell of fresh pine), positivity, kindness, NFL, matcha, and traveling. I grew up in a small town in southern Michigan which is where my veggie love-affair began.


My Story

I graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Environmental Biology/Zoology. My husband and I then traveled around the western part of the country. We spent time living in Yellowstone (my favorite place on earth), lived a year in Tempe, Arizona, and then spent over a year in Portland, Oregon (BEST city award!) We’re back in Montana in the Yellowstone area now and are absolutely loving it. It’s such a magical place – I love waking up every day in the pine-fresh mountains!


About the Recipes

I try to use one-ingredient, organic/non-GMO, whole foods as much as possible. Rice, quinoa, beans, fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. 


Why Vegan?
